The Swiss-made label, highlighting the Swiss provenance of a watchmaker, is a guarantee of quality and precision. It is based on criteria defined by law. At present, a federal ordinance sets the conditions for this world-renowned label.

The main change brought about by the reinforcement project is to specify a criterion of minimum value for the watch and not only the movement. Thus, to carry the ‘Swiss-made’ stamp, a watch will have to meet the requirement of 60% minimum Swiss value.
