14.08.2025
From September 4 to 7
This year marks the debut of Calibership, the first-ever competition dedicated to the art of fine calibration. The event welcomes two categories of participants: Professionals and Amateurs. Throughout the week, competitors will take turns at the Culture Club to demonstrate their precision in calibration and their technical expertise.
Amateur participants will be coached by students from the Geneva Watchmaking School, fostering the transmission of skills and passion for watchmaking.
The challenge? Determining who can calibrate a mechanical movement with the greatest precision. At the end of the week, COSC’s chronometer testing standards will be applied as the final evaluation criteria—ensuring impartiality, rigor, and recognition in line with the most demanding standards of Swiss watchmaking.
The Calibership Challenge will welcome leading figures from the watchmaking industry, including Jean-Christophe Babin, President of the Geneva Watch Days and CEO of Bulgari – LVMH Watch Division; Patrick Pruniaux, CEO of Ulysse Nardin; Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer and Benoît de Clerck, CEO of Zenith. Committed leaders coming together to launch the very first edition of the world’s only watch calibration marathon.
